Seeing your surroundings in a completely new and exciting way is at the heart of this drawing course. Complicated forms which appear difficult to draw, will present no problem for you by the end of the course.

Each subject is explained in small, easy to understand exercises. There are no time limits so you can spend as much time as you wish on each subject.

Rosa Tuffney, founder of the Devon School of Art is known for her teaching in the academic tradition.

Principles of composition, perspective, proportion and many other elements are taught to the highest level.

These principles are the same as those used by the great masters from Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo to Monet and Picasso.

No previous experience in art is necessary, just an eagerness to learn and a desire to draw.

1 year Drawing Course.

Every two weeks you will receive a file download to your email address introducing and explaining a principle of drawing. A drawing exercise is also set so the tutor can assess your understanding of the principle and ability to apply it in your drawings.

You will be asked to email your drawings to the Art School for a critique.
Each drawing is printed and evaluated for its merits and areas where further attention is suggested. The tutor's evaluation and observations are emailed back to you.
